Working With Conreaux Construction

What to Expect

At Conreaux Construction, we believe in clarity, integrity, and preparation. Our six-step process is designed to keep you informed and confident from the very first inspection to the final walkthrough. Whether you’re dealing with recent storm damage or planning a major restoration, we’ll guide you every step of the way.

1.

Complimentary Inspection

Our process begins with a thorough inspection of your property, where we assess both visible and hidden damage.

If you're experiencing active leaks, we’ll work to trace the source and document any interior and exterior damage. We take plenty of detailed photographs, ensuring every angle is covered — from water-stained ceilings to damaged shingles and gutter systems.

If your home has been affected by a recent storm, we look for:

  • Wind damage – such as missing or creased shingles, or ones that have come unsealed at the edges.
  • Hail damage – including dents and impact marks on your roofing, gutters, downspouts, lead pipe boots, and window screens.

2.

Understand Your Insurance Policy

Before filing a claim, it’s important to contact your insurance agent to review your policy details. Knowing your coverage will help you avoid surprises and delays. Here's what you’ll need to have on hand:

  • Homeowner's Policy Number
  • Type of Policy (RVC vs ACV)
  • Deductible Amount
  • Law or Ordinance Coverage (if present on policy)
  • Storm Date
  • Type and Extent of Damage
  • Age and Type of Roof
  • Property Details: Number of stories, roof accessibility, other exterior/interior issues
  •

Once you file your claim, your provider will issue a Claim Number — write this down and keep it safe. Within 24–48 hours, an insurance adjuster will contact you to schedule a meeting at your property.

3.

Insurance Adjuster Decision

Once your claim is filed, the insurance company takes the next steps:

  • Claim Filing:
We’ll help you fill out the
NRG Customer Consent Form and ensure your yard has proper signage for adjusters and crew identification.
  • Adjuster Meeting:
When the adjuster confirms a date and time, our team will be there onsite to advocate on your behalf, help identify damages, take supplemental photos, and document measurements.
  • Adjuster Decision:
    Typically within
7–10 business days, you’ll receive a decision. If the claim is approved, the adjuster will issue a Statement of Loss Estimate and the initial ACV payment to begin the project. Keep all adjuster contact info on file for future reference.

4.

Project Confirmation

Once your claim is approved, we’ll begin the material selection and scheduling process.

You’ll choose from a curated list of premium roofing, siding, and restoration materials that match your style, needs, and insurance scope. Our experts will walk you through colors, finishes, warranties, and accessories to ensure everything meets your expectations.

Once selections are finalized, we will confirm your start date and prepare your property for the next phase of construction.

5.

Installation Process

On installation day, our professional crew arrives ready to transform your property.

We’ll deliver materials in advance and ensure all protective measures are in place. Our licensed and insured installers work with efficiency, safety, and precision, minimizing disruptions and maintaining a clean job site. Whether it's a roof replacement, siding restoration, or a full exterior overhaul, we’ll handle everything with care and attention to detail.

Throughout the process, your project manager will keep you updated and answer any questions along the way.

6.

Final Walkthrough

After installation is complete, we conduct a final walkthrough to ensure every aspect of the job meets our standards—and yours.

We’ll review the completed work together, address any final concerns, and make sure you are 100% satisfied. This step includes a quality assurance inspection, photo documentation, and a discussion of any warranty details.

Once approved, we’ll collect the final payment, and you’ll be left with a beautifully restored property and peace of mind knowing the job was done right.
